HOMAGE TO ANDRÉ TCHAIKOWSKY

Whe I lived in England thirty-five years ago I was friends with the pianist and composer André Tchaikowsky. At the time I promised to him to design a house for him some day. Unfortunately I only was able to do this posthumously. A curced hall with coffee house chairs and grandpiano at one end and a kitchen for having guests on the other, a guest quarter and his private rooms with lovely sight on the sea for composing.

This fictional project has been designed with the program Allplan 2009. Especially the geometric form from which the glass facade is generated needed carful attention. The facade modelling tool proofed very powerful an precise. The results can be easily used for the construction of the details.
